Neosporin Powder 10gm

Neosporin Powder 10gm contains a combination of three antibiotics Neomycin, Polymyxin B and Bacitracin. This powder is used externally for the skin conditions with superficial bacterial infection or likely have a bacterial infection. It is applied on open wounds, cuts, minor burns and surgical wounds to prevent infection. The side effects of this medicine are low. However, redness, scaling of the skin, itching, swelling of face and breathing difficulty is seen in patients allergic to Neomycin. In such cases consult the doctor immediately. This powder has the potential to cause toxicity to your ears and kidneys. Prolonged use should be avoided, especially in case of an existing ear or kidney problem. Neosporin powder should not be used in children below 2 years of age.
